Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko will make his 12th start of the campaign Friday versus the Kings, hoping to record only his second victory of the season. It's been a miserable year so far for the 26-year-old, with Demko going 1-8-2, giving up over four goals per game (4.02) and registering a poor .874 save percentage. He has lost four starts in a row prior to Friday's action. But maybe this is exactly the matchup Demko needs to turn the corner. He has won both of his previous career starts against the Kings, and the Canucks have lost just once in the past eight head-to-head meetings, winning five in a row at home.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
