Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was the recipient of a scary hit in Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Smith-Schuster was knocked out of the game and has been in the NFL's concussion protocol ahead of KC's Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
After signing with the Chiefs this past offseason, Smith-Schuster got off to a sluggish start with Kansas City, but has put together some strong performances in recent weeks. Prior to Week 10, he'd logged 88 or more receiving yards in three consecutive games.

Is JuJu Smith-Schuster Hurt Or Healthy?
After a sluggish start to the year in his first season with the Kansas City Chiefs, JuJu Smith-Schuster has found a nice groove in KC's high-octane offense as of late. Smith-Schuster entered a Week 10 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a string of three consecutive games of 88 or more receiving yards.
Unfortunately, Smith-Schuster was the recipient of a nasty hit in Week 10. The scary collision forced the wide receiver from the game early and into the NFL's concussion protocol.
JuJu Smith-Schuster Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 11
The NFL has recommitted itself to ensuring a rather strict concussion protocol over the second half of the season. After suffering such a scary head injury, Smith-Schuster was immediately placed into the protocol.
Friday afternoon, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Smith-Schuster would indeed miss the Chiefs' Week 11 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
This announcement should come as little surprise to Smith-Schuster's fantasy managers. He hasn't participated in any Kansas City practices this week and will continue to be watched closely by both the Chiefs' medical staff and NFL officials as he recovers from the scary Week 10 hit.
With fellow KC receiver, Mecole Hardman placed on Injured Reserve earlier this week, Kansas City is suddenly desperate for pass-catchers. Look for the combination of Kadarius Toney, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and Justin Watson to all pitch in against L.A. this week. Fantasy managers should be patient as Smith-Schuster recovers and stash him on their bench until he's ready to return to action.
