Jake Bean Out Indefinitely With Shoulder Injury
2 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets defenseman Jake Bean (shoulder) has been placed on Injured Reserve and will be out indefinitely. The Blue Jackets are cursed with injuries and Bean is the latest player to go down, having hurt his shoulder in Tuesday's win over Philadelphia. Bean has been able to register one goal and five assists in 14 appearances this season. With Zach Werenski (shoulder) also out, Marcus Bjork is now set to quarterback the first power-play unit. The 24-year-old has only recently made his NHL debut, but he's hit the ground running, posting a goal and an assist through his first two career appearances.
