What Has The Rams DST Done in 2022?

The defending Super Bowl champs have been a disappointing defensive unit to this point in 2022. Despite the presence of future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald, L.A. has totaled just 18 sacks this season, which is the eighth-fewest in the NFL this season.

From a fantasy perspective, the Rams have also been underwhelming, as they currently stand tied for 25th in the NFL in average fantasy points per game at 5.1.

Should I Start The Rams DST In Week 11 Fantasy Football?

While the Rams have underperformed by almost every measure this season, the New Orleans Saints offense presents them with an intriguing opportunity for a spike week.

New Orleans has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points in the NFL to opposing defenses this season and Saints starting QB Andy Dalton has tossed seven INTs in his seven games this year.

While this may seem to be an interesting spot on paper, it is tough to trust the Rams in any fantasy capacity at the moment. With a 3-6 record, as well as injuries to key personnel, it's not tough to envision the Rams packing it in very soon. This L.A. DST should only be considered by the most desperate of fantasy GMs this week.
