As we head into Week 11 of the NFL season, many fantasy managers are searching for streaming options at the always-tricky DST position. Are the New Orleans Saints a viable streaming option this week?
The Saints draw an enticing home matchup against the scuffling Los Angeles Rams in Week 11. The defending Super Bowl champions have struggled mightily in 2022 and enter this week without superstar WR Cooper Kupp.
So, should we start the New Orleans Saints DST this week against the Rams?

What Has The Saints DST Done in 2022?
The Saints have been a middling defensive unit to this point in 2022. New Orleans has totaled 28 sacks this season, which is the seventh-most in the NFL, but the Saints have logged just two INTs on the year, which is tied for the fewest in the league.
From a fantasy perspective, they currently stand tied for 25th in the NFL in average fantasy points per game at 5.1.
Should I Start The Saints DST In Week 11 Fantasy Football?
While this Saints defense has been mediocre from a fantasy perspective this season, they deserve streaming consideration in Week 11 thanks to their home matchup against the slumping Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams have suffered a Super Bowl hangover in 2022 and enter the week with just a 3-6 record. Once a high-powered unit, L.A. ranks 29th in the NFL in average points per game at just 16.4. The Rams' struggles can be traced to a swiss cheese offensive line that's been woeful in both pass protection and run blocking.
L.A. comes into Week 11 allowing the most points per game in the league to opposing defenses. To make matters worse, the Rams will be without their superstar receiver, Cooper Kupp, and there are still doubts about Matthew Stafford's status as he works his way back from a concussion. While there might be better statistical DST units than New Orleans, this stands out as a terrific environment to fire them up as a high-upside streamer.
