Melvin Gordon III Still The Best Bet In Broncos Backfield
2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III had a decent fantasy day in the Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans, carrying the ball seven times for 24 yards while catching four of a season-high-tying six targets for 46 yards. However, he's seen double-digit carries only once in the last four games and continues to lose valuable touches, especially near the goal line, to Latavius Murray. With Chase Edmonds also in the picture now, Gordon's fantasy floor is dangerously low in a Broncos offense that scores just 14.6 points per game, the lowest in the NFL. The 29-year-old could see more targets again if receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle) is unable to play, but he's become a volatile touchdown-dependent RB3 for fantasy. Gordon enters Week 11 as the RB41 in half-point PPR scoring.
