ANALYSIS: The Denver Broncos offense has been near-disastrous under first-year head coach Nathaniel Hackett. That instability has spread to the Denver backfield, where Javonte Williams' season-ending injury has led to multiple moves, including acquiring Latavius Murray.
Despite being tossed into a committee situation in the Broncos' backfield, Murray has performed surprisingly well given the circumstances. The veteran has totaled 258 yards and three TDs since joining the Broncos.
Murray has now garnered double-digit touch counts in four straight games and led the way on the ground for Denver with nine carries in their Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Targeting a player like Murray isn't the type of move that makes fantasy managers fist pump with excitement, but the veteran could provide needy GMs that are managing injuries or bye weeks with some relief at the FLEX position.
