Darius Garland Pours In 51 Points In Loss
2 years agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland got the first 50-point game of the season on Sunday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite the 124-129 loss, the 22-year-old put up 51 points, two rebounds, six assists, and two steals on 16-for-31 shooting from the floor and 10-for-15 from deep. He tied CJ Miles for the second-most threes made in a game in the team's history. The only player with more was Kyrie Irving. This was a very encouraging sight as Garland has only shot better than 40% twice in his last six games before this one.
