Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot has been diagnosed with a concussion and will sit out for at least a week. He exited Saturday's 4-1 win over Philadelphia early following a hit from Travis Konecny. Chabot managed to end a six-game point drought with a goal before exiting. He's a massive piece for the team at both ends of the ice, so this is very bad news for the Senators, who have already struggled a lot. Jake Sanderson moved up to the first defensive pairing in Sunday's practice and looks set to fill the role in at least three games. He's been Ottawa's best-scoring defenseman so far with seven points, and playing bigger minutes should help the 20-year-old to make even more damage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
