Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is not only the face of the franchise but one of the faces of the NFL. The veteran quarterback has been a fantasy superstar the past few years, finishing as the overall QB1 in back-to-back seasons.
Furthermore, the former Wyoming star is currently the QB1 this season, averaging 26.9 fantasy points per game. Allen is on pace for his third straight season with 36 or more passing touchdowns.
Unfortunately, the superstar quarterback suffered an elbow injury in the 20-17 loss to the New York Jets last week.

Is Josh Allen Playing In Week 10?
The fantasy football community panicked earlier this week with speculation spreading that Allen would miss the rest of the season. However, the veteran logged a limited practice session on Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
While he hasn’t been ruled out for this weekend’s game, fantasy players shouldn’t expect Allen to play. The Bills must consider the rest of the season and the quarterback’s long-term health.
If Allen can't play, the veteran Case Keenum will get the start for the Bills.
Should I Pickup And Start Case Keenum?
However, fantasy players should pick up and start Keenum only as a last resort if Allen can’t play.
Keenum started two games last season for the Cleveland Browns. The veteran averaged 12.6 fantasy points per game, scoring under 13 fantasy points in both contests. His supporting cast in Buffalo is far superior to the unit he had last season in Cleveland. However, Keenum has never averaged more than 15.9 fantasy points per game any year in his career.
Instead, fantasy players should add Jacoby Brissett off the waiver wire. The veteran is rostered in only 12.5% of ESPN leagues. More importantly, he has played well lately.
Brissett is the QB19 for the year, averaging 14.1 fantasy points per game. He has scored 14.4 or more fantasy points in all but three games this season. More importantly, the veteran had his best performance of the year in Cleveland’s last game, scoring 20.3 fantasy points against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins have surrendered the most fantasy points to quarterback this season. Brissett lacks top-five upside this week, but he is the perfect last-minute replacement option for Allen.
