Ezekiel Elliott Expected To Play Against Packers
2 years agoDallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan on Friday that he expects running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) to play in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. "I do. Everything I've seen, I watched him yesterday, I think he's on go," Jones said. Elliott missed the Week 8 game with a sprained MCL in his knee and had last week's bye to heal, so the Cowboys fully expect him to return this weekend. However, it remains to be seen if the 27-year-old will have a full workload after putting in limited practices this week. With the potential for less work than usual after Tony Pollard ran for over 100 yards and three touchdowns in his absence in Week 8, Elliott will be on the RB2/3 borderline if he's officially active in Week 10. Expect him to have a questionable tag going into the game.
