PJ Walker Likely To Remain The Starter For Panthers
2 years agoAfter the win on Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers quarterback PJ Walker will likely remain the starter under center against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11, according to head coach Steve Wilks. Walker avoided turnovers in the Week 10 win over Atlanta, but that was only because he was fortunate to have the Falcons defense drop a couple of easy interceptions. He finished 10-for-16 for just 108 yards and no touchdowns and ran three times for 14 yards. The ground game, notably running back D'Onta Foreman, carried the offense on Thursday night. Walker didn't really do much to help the team win, and he'll face an improving Ravens defense next week. He'll be a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues as he attempts to hold off Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold for another week.
