PJ Walker A Dicey QB2 In Week 10
PJ Walker was named the starter for the team's Week 10 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are a familiar foe for Walker as he just threw for 317 yards and a touchdown against them in Week 8. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old followed up this solid performance with a nightmarish first half in Week 9, leading to a quarterback change to Baker Mayfield in the third quarter. Walker will hope to get back on track on Thursday night as the Falcons have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks in 2022. Still, Walker will be difficult to trust as anything more than a desperation QB2 in superflex and two-quarterback leagues.

P.J. Walker Landing With Seahawks
P.J. Walker is signing with the Seattle Seahawks, according to NFL.com. The 29-year-old spent last season with the Cleveland Browns, completing just 48.6% of his passes for 674 yards, one touchdown, and five interceptions in six game appearances. Overall, the 2017 undrafted free agent has racked up 2,135 passing yards, six passing touchdowns, six interceptions, and 80 rushing yards in 21 career games with the Browns and Carolina Panthers. With Geno Smith and Sam Howell already on the Seattle roster, Walker is likely capped at being the team's QB3 this offseason. He could become the team's emergency third quarterback in the regular season.

Browns Promote P.J. Walker To Active Roster
P.J. Walker to the active roster on Tuesday. He had been on their practice squad. The move comes in conjunction with Cleveland's announcement that rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson (hip) has been placed on injured reserve. Walker, who will now back up Joe Flacco, started three games for the Browns earlier this season, completing just 49.5 percent of his passes for 618 yards, one touchdown, five interceptions, and one lost fumble.

P.J. Walker Throws For 56 Yards In Relief In Week 12
P.J. Walker completed six of his 13 passes for 56 yards and lost a fumble in a 29-12 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 12. Walker opened the game as the backup but was pressed into service after Dorian Thompson-Robinson suffered a concussion in the third quarter of the contest. The offense struggled under Walker as they were shut out after the change was made at quarterback. Cleveland is unlikely to have Thompson-Robinson back in time for a Week 13 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, meaning it will be either Walker or the newly-signed Joe Flacco under center in that game. Stay tuned.

P.J. Walker Will Start In Week 9 If Deshaun Watson Misses Another Game
P.J. Walker will start in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals if Deshaun Watson (shoulder) misses another game. Watson is set to be limited in practice on Wednesday, but he was inactive in the Week 8 loss to the Seattle Seahawks for the third time this year after aggravating his sprained right rotator cuff in Week 7. Just because Watson is already practicing this week doesn't mean he's a lock to play on Sunday by any means. Walker, 28, has completed a career-low 49.5% of his 97 pass attempts in three games (two starts) in 2023, throwing for just 618 yards, one touchdown and five interceptions in relief of the injured Watson. It's a pretty decent matchup this weekend against Arizona, but Walker has proven to be nothing more than a desperation QB2 play in superflex leagues.
