Josh Allen Injury Update
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) suffered a sprain to his right elbow in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Jets. The initial prognosis was that it would limit him at practice, but he could still play, which remains the case as of Wednesday. Head coach Sean McDermott said they're taking it one day at a time, with no official designation on his status for this week's game against the Vikings.
It is an injury that the 26-year-old dealt with previously, however that does not guarantee the recovery process will be the same. As one of the top MVP candidates, amid a fantastic season, his absence would have a massive impact on the offense and all the fantasy-relevant players in it. Fantasy managers will need to monitor the day-by-day reports but should have an alternative option ready at the quarterback position.
Ryan Tannehill Injury Update
Tannehill was a game-time decision before the matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football but was ultimately ruled out just about an hour before kickoff. The Titans only passed for 80 yards on five completions in the 20-17 overtime loss, so surely Tennessee will be itching to get him back into the lineup.
Tannehill practiced on a limited basis last week, and his injury is not viewed as serious, but it's too early to know if he'll play in Week 10. We'll have to monitor the latest practice reports and buzz out of Tennessee to get a better idea before Sunday's action. For now, we can assume he figures to be questionable.
