Jason Day has had three consecutive solid tournaments so far, harkening to days gone by for the Australian golfer. Day almost wound up in the top 20 after a 66 on Sunday in Mexico. The golfer is driving balls around 310 yards or so. His driver average is currently 307.8, and his ability to approach the greens ranks sixth on the tour at 1.254 strokes gained. Day drained six birdies in all, which has been a pattern for his weekends. Day has a shot at The Houston Open if he can get off to a better start.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Jason Day finished tied for 49th at the RBC Heritage three weeks ago and will now focus on preparing for this week's Truist Championship, held at The Philadelphia Cricket Club. Day has five top-15 finishes this season and hasn't missed the cut in any of his 10 starts. Over the past 12 months, Day ranks in the 88th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from 100-150 yards in the fairway. This is particularly relevant because the Wissahickon Course at The Philadelphia Cricket Club has nine Par-4s that are under 450 yards. Day could be a valuable addition to DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller

It was a disappointing weekend at Augusta for Jason Day, as he shot rounds of 71 and 72 to finish T8 in the year's first major. A factor for much of the tournament, he lost some form from tee to green over the final two rounds while failing to convert a couple of close birdie looks. It was still a successful week for the 37-year-old, who is beginning to leak some oil in the ball-striking side of his game. Over his last four starts, he's lost strokes on approach and off the tee in two. Putting and chipping have undoubtedly been saving his rounds, which may have bigger consequences this week at Harbour Town Golf Links. He's posted decent finishes here in the past, but nothing repetitive or noteworthy. At $10,400, Day is a flashy name that may be better left on the sidelines.--Todd McGill - RotoBaller

Jason Day has not had it easy since COVID. The Australian golfer has seen his world ranking rise into the Top 40 (36th). Day has a couple of Top 10 results in 2025 and not missed a single cut as well. Day may be 37 but he is golfing like he is 27. His best finish at The Masters is that runner-up in 2011. That was his debut. Since then, Day has two other Top 5 results. For awhile. Day looked like he might have to retire with several different injuries and issues. However, Day persevered and is enjoying one of his better seasons with a 69.98 scoring average (26th on tour). The chances of a Top 10 finish is decent enough to consider in the +450 to +500 range. With calmer weather, Day has a chance to not get too battered and make more birdies. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Jason Day finished tied for eighth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational earlier this month and is now focusing on preparing for this week's Texas Children's Houston Open, held at Memorial Park Golf Course. So far in 2025, he has not missed a cut, although he did miss the cut at this event last year. Over the past 12 months, Day ranks in the 29th percentile for proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is noteworthy because, at last year's Texas Children's Houston Open, over 38% of approach shots came from this distance. Day may go overlooked in fantasy lineups this week, but including him carries some risk.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
