Aaron Rodgers is a locked-in NFL Hall of Fame quarterback, but every player reaches a point where they become less effective and he's beginning to build a real case to fall off the fantasy football radar moving forward.
With Davante Adams out of town, Rodgers' fantasy statistics and "real-life" statistics have fallen from grace, and with a few surprise breakout quarterbacks emerging, is he worth dropping?
We've become accustomed to an elite Rodgers and at least low-end QB1 production in fantasy football, but it's certainly worth explaining whether or not it's time to let go. Let's dive into it.

Aaron Rodgers Fantasy Recap and Outlook
Rodgers is just the QB25 in fantasy points per game through nine weeks of the NFL season. His 14.7 fantasy points per game puts him behind the likes of Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco, Jimmy Garoppolo, Daniel Jones, and the massive disappointment known as Russell Wilson.
He hit rock bottom in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions, where he completed just 23 of his 43 passing attempts for 291 yards, one touchdown, and a whopping three red zone interceptions. Rodgers was already beginning to fall into the "bust" category, but his horrific game against the worst defense in the NFL exacerbated the concern.
Rodgers' next three opponents are the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, and Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas and Philadelphia are two of the toughest matchups for fantasy quarterbacks. Tennessee hasn't been great against QBs, but it proved to be a real test for Kansas City, and as bad as the Packers' offense looks, Rodgers can bust in the most favorable of matchups.
Should I Drop Aaron Rodgers?
If there are plenty of streamers available in your fantasy league, Rodgers is absolutely droppable in traditional single-quarterback formats. Rodgers' upside is not worth clogging a roster spot at this point in the season.
However, if the waiver wire is ultra-thin at quarterback and roster spots are not an issue, he's probably worth keeping around in case he and the Packers offense finally does figure it out. That said, he's far from a high-end start over the next three weeks.
Hopefully, fantasy managers didn't invest valuable draft capital in him, because with the lack of weapons around him, he's going to have to do it all himself if the team makes the turnaround. It's worth noting Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Randall Cobb, and Aaron Jones are all banged up at the time of this article. The future is likely not bright for the future Hall-of-Famer.
