Mason Crosby Hits Short Field Goal In Week 9
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby converted a 25-yard field goal during the team's 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. The Packers elected to go for two after their lone touchdown, making for a poor fantasy outing for the 38-year-old. This was Crosby's fourth game in a row scoring four fantasy points or fewer. The Green Bay offense has been lifeless, leading to few field goal attempts or even extra point conversions for the veteran kicker. Next week's matchup with Dallas is not a good one for the struggling offense, and Crosby could be held in check once again. He will not be a recommended fantasy option next week and should be left on the waiver wire unless we see the Packers' offense turn things around.
