Allen Lazard Leads Packers In Receiving During Loss
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard caught four of his 10 targets, gaining 87 yards and scoring a touchdown, during the team's 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. Romeo Doubs (ankle) and Christian Watson (concussion) both left the game early, but Lazard was Rodger's clear top target even when they were in the game. The 26-year-old continued his streak of when healthy gaining 75 yards or scoring a touchdown. He and Aaron Jones have been the lone bright spots of the Packers' offense for fantasy managers, and Lazard should be considered a weekly FLEX option regardless of the matchup. We do not know how long Doubs and Watson will be out, but Lazard will continue to be heavily targeted in their absence. Dallas is next on the schedule and has held the wide receiver position to the 15th-fewest points per game. Lazard should be considered a WR3 in Week 10 with top-24 upside.
