2 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota struggled in the 20-17 Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The veteran quarterback completed only 52.2% of his pass attempts for 129 yards. He has thrown for under 130 yards in three of the past four games. More importantly, the former Oregon star had zero touchdowns for only the second time this season. Despite the appealing matchup, Mariota scored only 7.6 fantasy points against the Chargers. With a short week, the Falcons are unlikely to make a change at quarterback. However, if Mariota struggles on Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers, Desmond Ridder could end up starting in Week 11.--Mike Fanelli
