Aaron Rodgers Throws Three Interceptions During Week 9 Loss
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 23-of-43 passes for 291 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions during the team's 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. The reigning MVP added 40 yards on four carries. This was an abysmal performance in what should have been a get-right matchup for Rodgers and the entire Packers offense. The 38-year-old did lose wide receivers Romeo Doubs (ankle) and Christian Watson (concussion) in this game, but Detroit has failed to stop the pass against nearly any receiver in the league this season. Many gave Rodgers one last chance in a smash matchup, but Green Bay now has to face Dallas, Tennessee, and Philadelphia in the next three weeks. Rodgers should be sent to the waiver wire in favor of better options until he can finally show us that he can have a good fantasy performance. He should be considered a low-end QB2 next week against Dallas.
