2 years agoJoey Logano and his Team Penske racing car will start from the pole for Phoenix on Sunday afternoon. Logano is one of the "championship four" and has historical success on the mile-long track. That includes six top-ten results in the past seven races, a win in early 2020, and a near-win last March. However, in the Next-Gen car, the No. 22 did not factor in this year's version. He led a few laps but mostly stayed around 8th-10th place. Logano will need to be able to stay at the front. Starting from the pole helps but only for so long. If the car can stay in it until the final stage, Logano has a chance. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
