Curtis Samuel A Low-End WR2 In Week 9
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel has been seeing different usage over the past couple of weeks. Since Taylor Heinicke took over as quarterback, the former Buckeye has had nine total carries. While that usage has been promising, he is coming off of a season-low for targets in Week 8. Heinicke has been distributing the ball to Terry McLaurin more often, which is lowering the fantasy floor of Samuel. Hopefully, the sixth-year receiver will see the targets he's been used to against a Minnesota Vikings secondary that has allowed the seventh most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. With the possibility of his targets improving, Samuel is a low-end WR2 in Week 9.
