We have a tidy seven-gamer on Saturday following a massive 12-game slate last night. The Spurs-Nuggets affair leads my K-Grade model and holds the highest implied total on the slate, so that will be a matchup we'll want to get exposure to. However, there's some blowout risk in that one and there are other spots (Pelicans-Hawks, Celtics, Nets) we can target with some degree of confidence as well tonight. 10-of-14 teams in action tonight will be playing on the second leg of back-to-back sets, which means there's potential for a lot of injury/rest news coming out as the day wears on. Trey Young is the most notable player with a questionable designation tonight.
Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 11/5/22. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Dejounte Murray, vs. NOP (FD: $9,100, DK: $9,600)
There's a good chance Trae Young suits up tonight after he was poked in the eye on Wednesday and returned to play in the game. However, prized free agent acquisition Dejounte Murry is coming off his best game of the season as he exploded for 36 real-life points and 67.5 DK points against the Knicks. I think Young being affected, or limited, by his eye issue is a very real possibility, which would result in Murray taking on more usage and hucking up more shots tonight against a Pelicans team that can be exploited. New Orleans is allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing points guards this season.
Malcolm Brogdon, vs. NYK (FD: $5,500, DK: $4,600) DraftKings
Brogdon's salary feels like a huge mistake over on DraftKings, and we need to take advantage of the savings. He's averaging 23.5 minutes per game this season but he played 29 minutes last night thanks to his hot shooting, which resulted in 25 real-life points and a solid 33.5 DK point total. The Knicks rate out well defensively, but they struggle against opposing shooting guards as they're allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to the position this season.
Kelly Oubre, vs. BKN (FD: $6,900, DK: $6,300) DraftKings
I have elevated interest in Oubre tonight, and I hate that I typed those words consecutively. The Nets have been obscenely bad on defense (tied for the fourth-worst defensive rating) and the Hornets are extremely short-handed, missing LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, and Cody Martin. Oubre takes complete control with those four off the floor, averaging a 30.8% usage rate and 1.18 FPTS/min this season in the split. The Nets currently rank dead-last in three-pointers made allowed to opposing shooting guards, and guess what? Oubre is shooting 37.1% on 6.8 three-point attempts per game this season.
Also consider: Edmond Sumner, Cameron Thomas, Kevin Porter Jr., Jalen Green, Anthony Edwards, Jamal Murray (FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Jerami Grant, vs. PHX (FD: $6,400, DK: $6,500)
This play hinges on the status of Anfernee Simons, who is questionable with a foot injury. Playing without him, Lillard, and Gary Payton II, Grant put up 41 DK points last night against Phoenix in his best game of the season. He's a player who thrives as the primary usage player in the offense and it showed - his 29.3% usage rate leads the team with those three off the floor this season. He averages 1.12 FPTS/min in the split, but I'd tone down exposure to him if Simons is in as his usage rate (25.1%) and FPTS/min (0.97) take dramatic downturns with him on the floor. This is undoubtedly a tough matchup, but he's far too cheap for a guy who would be the primary option if Simons were to sit again.
Kevin Durant, vs. CHA (FD: $10,600, DK: $10,600)
KD's pricing hasn't yet caught up with the fact that Kyrie Irving is away from the team for at least four more games. He unsurprisingly went off for 59.25 DK points against the Wizards last night as he took complete control of the offense minus Irving, Ben Simmons, and Seth Curry. Durant holds an obscene 37.7% usage rate and averages 1.61 FPTS/min with those three off the floor this season, and he could be in store for an even more explosive game with the matchup he's gifted with tonight. It's a pace-up spot for the Nets as the Hornets rank sixth in pace (Brooklyn ranks 22nd), and Charlotte has had a really difficult time slowing down opposing small forwards as they're allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position.
Also consider: Giannis Antetokonmpo, Torrey Craig, KJ Martin, Yuta Watanabe, Tari Eason, Obi Toppin, PJ Washington, Joe Harris, John Collins, De'Andre Hunter
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Nikola Jokic, vs. SAS (FD: $11,400, DK: $11,700)
I'm going out on a limb here, I know. Jokic is the top fantasy basketball player on the planet and he comes into the game as one of the only high-salaried players who's not playing in the second half of a back-to-back set. The Spurs are allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers this season and hold the third-worst defensive rating overall, so there will be very little resistance for Jokic to command the offense and do whatever he wants. Both teams play at a top-12 pace, and the only real issue here is Jokic's minutes being cut short due to a potential blowout. The Nuggets are favored by 10.5 points at home, but there are clear paths for Jokic to reach value even if he gets a rotation cut short at the end.
Also consider: Isaiah Hartenstein, Onyeka Okongwu, Alperen Sengun, Deandre Ayton
