BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 20% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The Los Angeles Lakers seemed to have gotten things right, but at the end of the day it looks like they quite didn't do that much. That's why they only won a fluky game against the Nuggets, barely got another W with an impossible-last-gasp-inbound-play to edge NOLA by three, and ultimately dropped one to the Jazz (the Jazz) on Friday by 14 points.
Lonnie Walker IV, added to the fold this past summer as the main free-agency signee, couldn't be doing more. Walker has started all eight games played by the Lake Show through Saturday with sound outcomes. He's logged at least 29 MP in all but one of them and he finished all except the opener with at least 25 FP.
Walker is averaging 16+ PPG, 3 RPG, 2+ APG, 1+ SPG, and almost 1 BPG per game in the early season. The only thing killing his efficiency (FP/min) is the super-large dose of minutes he's receiving nightly, though that actually fixes the lack of efficiency and helps him reach bulky FP tallies on brute force.
Lonnie WIV has dumped 17+ pops in each of his last three games including a 28-point, 5-trey explosion on Nov. 2 against the Pelicans in which he shot 17 FGA hitting 9 of them from the floor for a 52.9 FG%. The TOPG are on the floor at just 1.3 per game and the free throws could ideally grow a bit but at least when Lonnie visits the charity stripe he hits them more often than not.
Playing next to LBJ and AD helps at times, but kills you at some other moments. Thus, the below-21% usage rate. That said, LW4 is still hoisting 13.5 FGA per game and that mark is one only boasted by Lonnie, Andrew Wiggins, and Jabari Smith among players with similar 21-or-lower USG% these days.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
