Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill has struggled this year. The veteran has averaged only 11.5 fantasy points per game, his lowest average since his rookie season.
Unfortunately, the regression isn’t surprising, given Tennessee’s current receivers. They traded away A.J. Brown in the offseason and replaced him with Treylon Burks and Robert Woods.
However, Burks has missed the past three games because of a toe injury. Even before getting hurt, the rookie struggled to make a consistent impact. Meanwhile, Woods has averaged only 5.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game this season, the lowest average of his career.

Is Ryan Tannehill Playing In Week 9?
The veteran quarterback suffered an ankle injury in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts. Unfortunately, he missed last week’s matchup against the Houston Texans because of the injury and an illness.
While Tannehill was a limited participant in practice this week, Tennessee has listed the quarterback as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Should I Pickup And Start Malik Willis For Fantasy Football?
Last week the rookie made his first career start. However, the Titans didn't ask Willis for much. Tennessee all over the Texans' defense and held their offense to only 10 points in the win. As a result, Willis had only 10 pass attempts and 55 passing yards and ended the game with only 1.4 fantasy points.
Sunday’s matchup against the Chiefs is appealing on paper. Kansas City has surrendered 21.2 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, the third-most in the NFL. However, fantasy players should avoid starting Willis.
His limited pass attempts last week are a massive concern. While the Texans had no answer for Derrick Henry (like usual), fantasy players would have liked to see Willis throw the ball more than 10 times.
Instead of adding the rookie off the waiver wire, fantasy players should target Andy Dalton (rostered in 17.5% of ESPN leagues). The veteran has 590 passing yards and six touchdowns over the past two weeks while averaging 21.9 fantasy points per game.
More importantly, his matchup this week is excellent. The Baltimore Ravens have surrendered 18.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, giving up 17 or more fantasy points in three of their past five games. They have given up 285.6 passing yards per game this season, the second-most in the NFL.
Dalton is the perfect bye-week filler or last-minute replacement option for fantasy players this week.
