Tyreek Hill Remains A Top WR1 Play In Week 9
Tyreek Hill has looked like one of the best playmakers in the NFL this season, and he shows no signs of slowing down. The superstar is the overall WR1 in PPR, catching 69 passes for 961 yards and two touchdowns. On pace to break the single-season receiving record, Hill will line up against Jaylon Johnson this week. While his matchup isn't as appealing as teammate Jaylen Waddle's, it certainly could be a lot worse. Hill has the upper hand in this matchup, and with the Dolphins' offense hitting its stride, he could be due for another enormous game.

Tyreek Hill Has Second Wrist Surgery
Tyreek Hill (wrist) announced on social media that he had a second surgery on his wrist that "went amazing," according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Hill's second procedure was part of his original plan and was to have screws removed from his left wrist, and the Cheetah's timeline for a return won't change. The 31-year-old initially injured his wrist in a training camp practice in August but never missed a game because of it in 2024, ultimately finishing with a disappointing 81-959-6 line in 17 starts after leading the league with 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2023. It was the first time that Hill hasn't been named a Pro Bowler in his nine-year NFL career. He is going to miss most of the team's offseason work but should be ready come training camp and the regular season. Hill could bounce back as a high-end WR1 in fantasy, but quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's concussion history makes the speedy wideout more volatile.

Dolphins Not Pursuing A Trade Of Tyreek Hill
Tyreek Hill, and no team has called them attempting to trade for Hill. Grier joked that if a team called to offer the Dolphins two first-round picks for Hill, they'd maybe consider it. Hill, who had a disappointing 2024 campaign by his standards while battling through a left-wrist injury that required surgery, insinuated he'd be heading out of town after the season finale last year. However, he later went back on his statements and said he made them out of frustration after missing the playoffs. The 31-year-old speedster could easily bounce back in 2025 with better health, unfortunately his fantasy value is also tied to oft-injured quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The eight-time Pro Bowler finished shy of 1,000 receiving yards last year for the first time since 2019, when he played in just 12 games in KC.

No Arrest For Tyreek Hill After Domestic Incident
Tyreek Hill has not committed a crime, and the investigation of a domestic incident involving him has already been closed. The veteran was apparently engaged in some domestic dispute on Wednesday with his wife at their high-rise condominium in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Exactly what occurred is unclear, but the police were called after Hill reportedly threw a laptop. Fortunately, the 31-year-old was able to avoid trouble, as this would be just another incident in a string of off-the-field issues for him dating back to last year. After a down 2024, Hill's price in fantasy drafts this summer should be lower than in years past. It's possible he's lost a step at his age, but a productive season is very much still in his range of outcomes.

Dolphins Planning On Tyreek Hill Being Part Of Their Future
Tyreek Hill are fully planning on moving forward together for the 2025 season at this time, but the head coach also noted that things happen in the NFL. Hill pulled himself from the Week 18 regular-season finale against the New York Jets and said after the game that, "I'm out." The 31-year-old speedy wideout later went back on his words and said, "I don't want to go nowhere." The Cheetah could have just been voicing his frustrations in a disappointing season for the Dolphins in which he battled a wrist injury all year. Hill later had surgery on his wrist to fix a ligament issue, but he's expected to be fully healed for the start of the 2025 campaign. Hill took a fall in fantasy, but it didn't help that QB Tua Tagovailoa missed six games. He's still a WR1 in fantasy, but with the injury risk surrounding Tua, Hill is no longer a lock as a high-end WR1.
