New York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis has played well in his second season with the team. The veteran wide receiver has averaged 3.2 receptions on 5.5 targets for 58.5 receiving yards and 9.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over the first six contests this year.
With two young wide receivers on the roster, the former Western Michigan star lacked fantasy appeal entering this season. Yet, Davis was the WR32 in half-point PPR scoring over the first six weeks this season.
However, the former first-round pick has played an entire season only once in his career because of injuries. He missed the last week's matchup against the New England Patriots because of a knee injury.

Is Corey Davis Playing In Week 9?
After missing the Week 8 game, the Jets and fantasy players hoped Davis would return for Sunday’s matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, the veteran receiver was ruled out on Friday and won’t play against the AFC East division leaders.
However, head coach Robert Saleh is confident the former Western Michigan receiver will be back after the team’s Week 10 bye.
Should I Pickup And Start Elijah Moore For Fantasy Football?
The second-year wide receiver has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. Moore has grown frustrated with his lack of playing time and requested a trade. The Jets immediately denied his request.
After sitting out the Week 7 matchup against the Denver Broncos, the former second-round pick played last week against the Patriots. However, he barely saw the field.
Moore ran fewer routes than several players last week, including Jeff Smith and Denzel Mims. The former Ole Miss star ended the game with only one target and zero fantasy points.
As much as fantasy players want to see the young receiver return to his impressive play from last season, that isn’t likely to happen this year. Barring something unforeseen, fantasy players can drop Moore from their redraft league rosters.
This week, fantasy players needing a last-minute replacement at wide receivers should add Alec Pierce (rostered in 23.9% of ESPN leagues). The rookie was second on the team in targets last week behind Michael Pittman Jr. More importantly, he has averaged four receptions on six targets for 62.2 receiving yards and 9.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game since Week 1.
