Aaron Nola Takes Loss In Game 4
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola never seemed to get comfortable in Wednesday night's World Series Game 4 start against the Houston Astros, and he left in the fourth inning with the bases loaded. Unfortunately for him, relief pitcher Jose Alvarado allowed all three of those runners to score, and Nola finished with three runs allowed on seven hits and no walks in four innings of work. He struck out four batters and took his second loss of the postseason. He now has a 4.91 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 27 strikeouts in 25 2/3 innings in the playoffs.
