Rhys Hoskins Finishes Homer Parade In Game 3
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins was the fifth man to homer off of Houston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. Tuesday, putting the team up 7-0 in the fifth inning of an eventual World Series Game 3 victory. Hoskins did not reach base in any of his three other plate appearances. He now has six home runs and a .786 OPS in 56 postseason at-bats. He hasn't hit much, with a .196 batting average, but he's made the hits count as the Phillies are two wins from the championship.
