Terry McLaurin Pulls Down Clutch Catch In Week 8 Win
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin caught six-of-eight targets for 113 yards in Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts. The former Buckeye had himself an impressive day as he led the Commanders in targets while going over 100 receiving yards for the second time this season. His day was particularly highlighted by a huge 33-yard reception that set the Commanders up at the one-yard line for the game-winning touchdown. With Taylor Heinicke at quarterback, McLaurin has been seeing two more targets and over 30 more receiving yards per game compared to his averages from when Carson Wentz was passing the ball. As long as Heinicke is leading this Washington offense, the fourth-year receivers' trajectory should be moving up. McLaurin will aim to continue his strong production in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings.
