PJ Walker Throws For 317 Yards In Narrow Loss
2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback PJ Walker completed 19 of 36 pass attempts for 317 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a 37-34 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Walker added 20 yards rushing on one carry. His one score came on a beautiful 62-yard pass to wide receiver DJ Moore that tied the game late in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, the missed extra-point attempt afterward ultimately led to the loss in overtime. Walker's 317 passing yards are the most by a Carolina quarterback this season and the team has scored 55 points in two weeks with him as the starter. Expect Walker to remain the Panthers' QB1 going forward. A matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals is on tap for Week 9.
