Zach Wilson Struggles In A Passing Offense In Week 8
2 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson struggled in what suddenly became a pass-heavy offense in Week 8 against the New England Patriots. His on-field performance was decidedly less than stellar, but his fantasy numbers weren't, as he completed 20 of his 41 passes for 355 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions. He also took two sacks and made sure to time his interceptions for critical moments, but it was still an unexpectedly high fantasy score from the former game manager. With Breece Hall (knee) out and James Robinson (brand new to the team) not quite ready, the Jets needed to pass a lot more often, and it didn't go great. Despite the new offensive identity, Wilson remains an option only in deeper superflex leagues at this point.
