Steelers Defense Can't Slow Down Eagles In Week 8
2 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers defense struggled to contain the Philadelphia Eagles in a 35-13 loss in Week 8. Pittsburgh allowed 401 yards of total offense in the blowout loss while notching three sacks and failing to force a turnover on Sunday. They allowed Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown to connect for three touchdowns in the contest, an effort that got starting cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon benched after halftime. The Steelers will get some time to regroup with a bye in Week 9 before they welcome the New Orleans Saints to town in Week 10.
