2 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer (ribs) has been activated from injured reserve and is expected to be active for Week 8 against the New York Giants. Homer underwhelmed while filling a depth role earlier in the season, but he was playing behind Rashaad Penny and Kenneth Walker III at the time. Not only is Penny now sidelined, but DK Metcalf (knee) is also a longshot to play. As a result, Homer could immediately see volume in his first game back.
