Giants Defense A Mid-Tier Option In Week 8
2 years agoThe defense of the New York Giants should be considered a mid-tier option in a Week 8 road matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. The Giants have recorded only one interception on defense this season (tied for the lowest in the NFL) and they've registered a 30.4% pressure rate (22nd in the NFL). Meanwhile, Seattle's offense has been much better than expected with Geno Smith at quarterback and Kenneth Walker manning the backfield with Rashaad Penny out for the year. Even if D.K. Metcalf can't suit up this week, Tyler Lockett and Marquise Goodwin were productive last week in his absence, making the Giants a middle-of-the-pack defense to use in Week 8.
