Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown ended the 2021 season on a historic tear and looked to be poised to pick up right where he left off early in 2022.
However, a couple of unfortunate injuries have slowed his production over the last few weeks, leaving fantasy managers wondering where he stands. St. Brown has high-end WR1 upside in what looked like a top offense through the first four weeks of the season.
Is St. Brown healthy and ready to go, or will he miss the Week 8 contest against the Miami Dolphins?

Is Amon-Ra St. Brown Healthy or Injured?
St. Brown left the Week 7 game against the Dallas Cowboys early in the first quarter with suspicion he'd suffered a concussion. However, it has since been reported he never actually sustained a concussion but was ruled out as a safety measure after exhibiting concussion-like symptoms.
It was an unfortunate break for fantasy managers who started St. Brown since he caught just one pass before his exit, but the league is going to be extra careful with head and neck injuries after the Tua Tagovailoa concussion controversy. That said, St. Brown is expected to suit up for Week 8 against the Dolphins.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook
Per NFL Fantasy, the Dolphins have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to wide receivers through seven weeks. That data point alone makes St. Brown a must-start and a projected high-end WR2 to WR1. His floor in PPR leagues should be around a WR3, but we've seen his weekly ceiling can be a top-five player at the position.
The Lions' offense led by Jared Goff has sputtered in its last two games, but the return of St. Brown and potentially D'Andre Swift (shoulder) could get the unit back to full strength as one of the league's best offenses.
St. Brown is several weeks removed from his ankle injury and was cleared of having a concussion, so start him with confidence in this juicy matchup.
