DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (10/26/22): NBA DFS Lineups

Trae Young - Atlanta Hawks

NBA DFS sleepers and values plays for DraftKings and FanDuel on October 26, 2022. Juan Carlos Blanco gives you his top NBA DFS picks and lineup targets.

We're set for a typically robust 10-game Wednesday night slate, one that gives us no shortage of appealing options across the salary cap.

There are some key injuries sprinkled throughout the ledger as well, but with 20 teams in action, we still should have no trouble differentiating for tournaments and finding reliable options for cash games. There are also plenty of games with projected totals of over 225 points, which makes for a great DFS environment overall.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 10/26/22. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:00 pm ET tonight. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Trae Young - PG, ATL at DET ($9,700 DK; $8,700 FD)

Young has had an abysmal start to the season shooting-wise, draining only 32.4 percent of his attempts through his first three games. However, the star point guard has still put together a very productive fantasy resume, posting a pair of 50-DK-point tallies along the way with the help of a career-high 11.7 assists per contest.

Young now draws a matchup that could get his shooting woes corrected, considering the Pistons are allowing Eastern Conference-high 34.7 percent offensive efficiency to point guards, as well as NBA-high 55.1 percent shooting, including 61.9 percent from three-point range, to the position. Detroit is also surrendering over 60 fantasy points on either site to ones, making this a premium matchup for Young overall.

D'Angelo Russell - PG/SG, MIN vs. SA ($7,400 DK; $7,300 FD)

Russell was excellent in his first encounter with the Spurs on Monday night, and the good news is that his salaries remain completely unchanged. Russell posted 47.8 DK/47.5 FD points over 31 minutes against San Antonio, which is now allowing NBA-high 35.0 percent offensive efficiency to ones, along with 48.0 percent shooting.

The Spurs are also surrendering over 61 fantasy points per game to point guards on either site and are tied for the second-most assists per contest conceded to the position as well, all factors that make Russell as good a mid-salary play as he was in the first game of the back-to-back set.

Ayo Dosunmu - PG/SG, CHI vs. IND ($5,200 DK; $5,000 FD)

Dosunmu has had some uneven performances to start the season, but he generated 35.5 DK/33.2 FD points against the Celtics on Monday. The second-year guard also hit 37.0 DK/37.2 FD points in the opener against the Heat, and he should be in a very advantageous position to overdeliver on his modest salaries again Wednesday.

The Pacers check in allowing 55.2 DK and FD points per game to point guards, along with the second-highest three-point shooting percentage (44.2) overall. In turn, Dosunmu has shot 52.5 percent, including 50.0 percent from three-point range, over his first four contests.

ALSO CONSIDER: Zach LaVine - SG, CHI vs. IND ($7,700 DK; $7,300 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kevin Durant - SF/PF, BKN at MIL ($10,000 DK, $9,900 FD)

Durant has once again been a bright spot during an ugly start to the season for the Nets, averaging over 45 fantasy points on either site over his first three games while shooting a blistering 55.9 percent, equaling a career high with 32 points per contest and recording a career-best 2.0 blocks per game.

KD now tangles with a Bucks team that's still missing Khris Middleton (wrist) and who he posted over 50 fantasy points against on either site in three meetings last season. Durant's usage is once again through the roof -- he's averaging 19.7 shot attempts per game -- and he should naturally be heavily involved in what could be a wire-to-wire battle.

Evan Mobley - PF, CLE vs. ORL ($6,300 DK; $6,400 FD)

Mobley's scoring and rebounding are a bit down from last season in the early going, yet he's also averaging a career-high 1.2 steals and has upped his shooting to 56.0 percent, including 33.3 percent from distance, from last season's respective 50.8 and 25.0 percent figures in those categories.

Mobley now faces a Magic team that's allowed 55.7 total rebounds per road game and that's giving up 53.2 percent shooting to power forwards, along with the fifth-most points (28.3) and an NBA-high 61.7 DK/59.4 FD points per contest to the position.

Jarred Vanderbilt - PF, UTA vs. HOU ($5,100 DK; $6,100 FD)

Vanderbilt has enjoyed a very productive start to his Jazz tenure, averaging 9.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.5 steals while shooting 61.5 percent, including 50.0 percent from behind the arc. The versatile big man has eclipsed 30 fantasy points on each site in each of the last three games as well, including tallies of 34.3 DK/33.2 FD points against these same Rockets on Monday night.

Given his discounted salaries and another crack at Houston's porous frontcourt defense, he makes for a very prudent value option against a team that's surrendering NBA-high 37.3 percent offensive efficiency to power forwards, as well as 58.4 DK/54.9 FD points per game to fours.

ALSO CONSIDER: Jalen Smith - PF, IND at CHI ($5,700 DK; $5,900 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic -  DEN vs. LAL ($10,900 DK; $11,000 FD)

Jokic makes for an interesting tournament play on a big slate like Wednesday's following a game Monday night against the Trail Blazers where he was held to 33.3 DK/32.3 FD points. The Joker is naturally capable of much better production, and he may well be ready to deliver it Wednesday against a Lakers team that's once again struggling to open the new season while allowing the third-most rebounds per game to centers (19.0) and an NBA-high 65 boards per contest overall. Jokic scored 57 and 75.5 DK points in two games against the Lakers last season, underscoring what his upside could be in this matchup.

Nikola Vucevic - CHI vs. IND ($7,900 DK; $8,000 FD)

Vucevic is coming off having scored 54.8 DK/51.1 FD points against the Celtics on Monday, and he walks into an even better matchup Wednesday night against a short-handed Pacers frontcourt. Indiana has allowed the ninth-highest offensive efficiency to centers (33.3 percent), along with the fourth-highest offensive efficiency in the paint (64.0 percent) and over 59 fantasy points per game to fives. What's more, Indiana's aforementioned weakness against three-point shooting already mentioned in Dosunmu's entry could certainly benefit Vucevic as well, as the big man is taking 4.5 three-point attempts per game.

Mitchell Robinson - NYK vs. CHA ($5,300 DK; $5,200 FD)

Robinson is always a bit of a wild card to roster which is encapsulated by his performance over the first three games of the season. The big man scored under 20 fantasy points in each of the first two games, but he exploded for 29.5 DK/33.2 FD points in his most recent contest against the Magic on Monday night.

The matchup is even better on paper Wednesday, as the Hornets are allowing 67.4 DK/65.9 FD points per game to centers. Charlotte is also yielding Eastern Conference-high 40.7 percent offensive efficiency to fives, along with the third-most blocks per game (8.0); meanwhile, as customary, Robinson has recorded multiple blocks in each game thus far.

ALSO CONSIDER: Isaiah Stewart, DET vs. ATL ($5,400 DK; $5,900 FD)
