Kyle Pitts Once Again Struggles
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts had a team-high five targets in the 35-17 Week 7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the second-year tight end had a season-low nine receiving yards in the game. While the former Florida Gator was arguably robbed of a touchdown late in the second quarter, fantasy players have to consider benching Pitts moving forward. The Falcons have developed a run-heavy offense. Quarterback Marcus Mariota has only 27 pass attempts in the past two games combined. Therefore, it's no surprise that Pitts has only eight targets during that span. The young tight end has as so much untapped potential. Unfortunately, his fantasy outlook is awful until Arthur Smith gets fired or the Falcons return to a balanced offensive attack.
