2 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones (ankle) is trending towards playing against the Chicago Bears in Week 7, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The second-year signal-caller is listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week long. Jones hasn't played since Week 3. Through three contests this year, he posted 786 passing yards and an uninspiring 2:5 touchdown-to-interception ratio. However, a favorable matchup against the Bears' weak secondary gives Jones a chance to get things right in his first game back. Assuming Jones is indeed inactive, rookie Bailey Zappe, who has looked great through three contests, will revert to a backup role.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
