2 years agoHouston Rockets center Bruno Fernando (knee) won't be available for Saturday's game against Milwaukee. The 24-year-old big man left Friday's loss to Memphis early with left knee soreness and it appears that it's still bothering him. All the hype has been around Alperen Sengun, but Fernando has started the season as Houston's starting center and he looked very impressive in the season opener on Wednesday against Atlanta, bagging seven points with nine rebounds, seven assists and two blocks. He had to settle for just four points, four rebounds and two assists in 12 minutes Friday. Sengun saw extended minutes with Fernando unavailable and went off for 23 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks. He will look to repeat the performance Saturday night.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
