Steven Adams is worth considering as a fantasy basketball waiver wire pickup heading into Week 2 of the 2022-23 NBA season.

ANALYSIS: We're about to wrap up the 2022 Year of our Lord yet here we still are, looking at Steven Adams rostered in fewer than half of ESPN leagues out there. Seriously, folks, you can do better than this.
Adams, just in case, is a consummate Kiwi. I mean, professional. He's into his 10th year as a pro since entering the NBA in 2014 and he's finished into the top-14 players at the C position in four of the last five seasons (the only blip happened in 2021, his lone year with the Pelicans).
Already with the Grizzlies last year, Adams played 76 games starting all but one of those and even though he only logged 26 MPG he still put up a ridiculous 7-10-3-1-1 line with 1.5 TOPG. Of course, he was not (as he's never been) a USG% hogger with just a 12% rate, but that didn't take from him putting up numbers.
Adams has played 33, 33, and then 22 minutes in Memphis' first three games of the season (the last one a back-to-back return), and although the scoring has not been sublime (3.5+ PPG) the rebounds are as solid as ever with 9 RPG and so are the dimes (2 APG) and the blocks (2+ BPG).
You have to watch out for the low FGA as they are absolutely devastating so far topping at four a couple of days ago, but other than that the rebounding won't fail you and the blocks have been a sight to behold in the early season.
