Darius Slayton Isn't Worth Starting In Week 7
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton isn't worth starting in any format against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7. Back in Week 5, the former fifth-round pick took advantage of multiple injuries to other wide receivers on the Giants by hauling in six of his seven targets for 79 yards. Despite playing in a season-high 69 percent of the snaps in Week 6, Slayton finished with only one reception for 18 yards on three targets. The return of Wan'Dale Robinson last week certainly didn't help the veteran wideout in terms of usage. With Robinson seemingly getting an expanded role in the coming weeks, Slayton is best kept on your bench this week.
