2 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have not yet decided if they will tender first baseman/outfielder Cody Bellinger a contract in 2023, per the Athletic's Fabian Ardaya. The 27-year-old is under the team's control for the 2023 season, but he would immediately become a free agent if the Dodgers elected not to tender him a contract. The 2017 National League Rookie of the Year has now had three consecutive poor seasons after a solid first three seasons and slashed just .210/.265/.389 with 19 home runs, 68 RBI, and 14 stolen bases in 550 regular-season plate appearances. Fantasy managers would be happy to see Bellinger return to his old ways, and perhaps a change of scenery would help.
