Andrew Benintendi Still Experiencing Wrist Pain
2 years agoThe New York Yankees could get pitchers Frankie Montas (shoulder) and Ron Marinaccio (leg) back for the American League Championship Series if they advance, but they are less certain about outfielder Andrew Benintendi (wrist), who is still experiencing wrist pain. He had a new injection this week. Benintendi has been ramping up his baseball activities with hopes of rejoining the team if they advance past the Cleveland Guardians in Game 5 of the AL Division Series on Monday, but he's looking iffy now if the Yankees actually advance. The 28-year-old last played for the Yankees on Sept. 2, and it's uncertain if he'd even be in play for the Bombers as a starter in the ALCS if he's healthy enough to be included on the roster.
