Tyler Anderson Gets The Ball For Game 4 Of NLDS
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Tyler Anderson will start in Game 4 of the National League Division Series on Saturday against the division-rival San Diego Padres. The Dodgers went with left-handers in the first two games of the series but will break that up with righty Tony Gonsolin in Game 3 on Friday. Anderson had a career year in 2022, going 15-5 with a 2.57 ERA (3.31 FIP), a 1.00 WHIP and a 138:34 K:BB in 178 2/3 innings over 30 outings (28 starts) for the Dodgers. The 32-year-old veteran southpaw was money in four starts against the Padres, too, going 2-0 by allowing only five earned runs on 15 hits while walking six and striking out 16 in 24 innings pitched.
