Viktor Hovland Chipping Away At Short Game
2 years agoViktor Hovland's short game is starting to look like the chip off the old 2021 season, where he was neutral around greens (-0.03), which is sadly the best season he has had around the greens as a professional. He has gained six total strokes in his 20 rounds since The Open Championship, with T35 his worst finish. His ball striking is typically very good and leads the field in proximity from 150-225 yards, where about half the approach shots should come from. Hovland is going relatively low owned and provides immense upside potential at $9,500.
