2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals have signed free-agent running back Corey Clement to their practice squad. The team brought the former Eagle in for a workout and must have liked what they saw. After losing lead back James Conner and backup Darrel Williams on Sunday against the Eagles due to injuries, the team appears to be loading up on depth in case one or both players cannot suit up this week. The 27-year-old will join recently signed Ty'Son Williams as another option should they need to elevate someone for their Week 6 matchup with the Rams. It's unclear which of these two would be the primary backup behind Eno Benjamin, so both remain players to monitor until we know more about the health and pecking order in this backfield.--Josh Constantinou - RotoBaller
