2 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) will not travel with the team to Philadelphia for their final preseason game. He was forced to exit the game on Monday after spraining his left ankle during the third quarter. The severity of the injury is still to be determined, but the 21-year-old guard received treatment on Tuesday morning and will undergo imaging later in the afternoon. This move to hold him out of a meaningless preseason game shows that the Hornets are going to be cautious with their young star guard.
