Patriots Defense Scores, Shuts Out Lions In Week 5 Win
2 years agoThe New England Patriots' defense/special allowed 312 total yards of offense in Sunday's 29-0 win over the Detroit Lions. New England shut out a potent Lions' offense, racking up two sacks and an interception in Sunday's win. The biggest play from New England's defense came from Matt Judon sacking Lions quarterback Jared Goff, forcing a fumble that defensive back Kyle Dugger took to the house for a 59-yard touchdown. The Patriots' defense has now scored in back-to-back weeks and is a solid option against the Cleveland Browns in Week 6.
