Mike Gesicki Catches 30-Yard Pass In Week 5
2 years agoMiami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki turned two targets into one catch for 30 yards against the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon. Despite his low volume, the 27-year-old posted the second-most receiving yards among Miami players. The Dolphins' offense struggled as a whole, partly due to the quarterback situation. Second-string quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was forced out of action due to a head injury, prompting Miami to turn to third-string rookie Skylar Thompson. Between poor quarterback play and heavy competition in the passing game, Gesicki significantly lacks fantasy appeal. He can be dropped in most leagues.
